Would you rather be able to create art but be rendered unable to look at anybody else's, or be able to look at all the art in the world but be incapable of making any of your own?



Uh, this is a /very/ hypothetical situation, so for my purposes let "art" mean literature, drawing, painting and sculpture, or whatever else it is you people do.
Also, I haven't got all the details ironed out so don't ask specifically what forces would prevent you from appreciating others' art, or what would stop you from creating it because my answer will be "magic" and we will both be sad.

I'm not sure if I want to count photography or film as art in this context because it's a complicated matter with its potential to be either a form of documentation (eg: news photos), an aesthetically pleasing piece of art, or both. It's possible you just wouldn't get to see the artsy photos or something.

Anyways, I am interested in your thoughts (that's right, that means YOU), even if you just want to insult the stupidity of my question. Seriously.
